Head of Financial Modelling recruitment

Your role will be highly visible within the business as the modelling team has a pivotal role to play in the management, development and maintenance of Financial Models.  You will oversee a team of Financial Modellers and will closely support the Head of Data and Analytics, ensuring that regulatory requirements are met.  You will also be the primary technical interface for the financial models within Risk, Customer Analytics and Group Functions and will drive the design, development and implementation of robust financial models. 

As well as ensuring your team deliver projects and initiatives to agreed time, scope and quality, you will be responsible for reporting on and supporting the development maintenance of risk appetite and for ensuring effective risk models and systems are designed and implemented. 

We are looking for a commercially minded leader with experience in model development and application with knowledge of statistical modelling, portfolio analysis techniques and practical application of statistical models.

As you will be the representative on key committees, it will be highly regarded to have demonstrable relationship management skills, especially senior stakeholder management. You will have a post graduate in statistics or related qualification and we will also consider equivalent practical experience.
