Head of Financial Operations – Real Estate Fund Management – Our Client is a thriving and successful expanding Global Real Estate Business with in a multi-billion portfolio of funds under management. As part of their continued growth and reorganisation they have a requirement for a Financial Operations Head.
The Role: - Reporting to the CFO the position will manage a team of qualified and part-qualified Accountants and assume overall responsibility for all client and fund reporting; responsibilities will include:-
- Overall responsibility for investment performance measurement and reporting.
- Reviewing and organising the preparation of ad-hoc financial analysis.
- Organising FX Hedging and cash management.
- Managing the relationships with fund custodians and auditors.
- Assisting in the Financial Operations due diligence on potential new investments.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls.
The Person: To apply you will be a Qualified ACA with several years PQE and previous experience of managing a large team. Additionally you will possess strong technical ability and expertise in performance calculation and measurement (IRR’s etc.) and be a strong character with solid problem solving / analytical skills and excellent attention to detail. Priority will be given to those form an investment / funds management environment and to those with strong systems literacy.
