Head of Financial Risk – Credit & Market recruitment
This client is looking for a candidate to fill the Head of Financial Risk role, looking after the day to day management of the core team in London, as well as having oversight of the Asia Risk Management function.
Risk is managed through financial risk measurement, reporting and control, along with appropriate governance and oversight structure.
The Head of Financial Risk is responsible for the development and implementation of a Group wide framework, policy and coresponding standards, as well as periodic reviews against industry and financial risk best practice. Management and reporting of global and local risk indicators along with development of strategies across various financial risks will be part of the role.
Other responsibilities include: VaR and end of day return on risk assigned capital analysis, portfolio and client analysis, global margin management, local/regional stress testing and development of processes and controls relating to corporate credit terms.
Candidates should have financial services experience within a risk function, and exposure to VaR. A strong degree and communcation skills are a necessity.
