Head of Fixed Income Middle Office (P&L, Risk + IPV) – Director
The role is to run all fixed income controller teams that cover product control, risk reporting and valuation control. It is a particularly senior position that faces off globally to MD’s across the business. It is also a crucial position in terms of the build out and development of the fixed income business. The infrastructure needs vast improvement to accommodate expansion plans for the volume and complexity of the fixed income business. There are also other initiatives surrounding support for OIS discounting and CSA that you are to drive and ultimately lead. This is all in addition to overseeing a function covering areas that at other IB’s could be headed up by three separate directors.
This is a huge challenge, hence why we are looking for a heavyweight director from a strong fixed income background (product control, IPV or valuation risk preferred). The role offers huge expansion plans, but you should expect to be committed to being based in Asia. Ideally you’ll have a track record of building out functions, processes and where possible specific desks.
The client is offering a strong base salary, potentially seen as being in line with some MD’s in London. A relocation package is also offered.
