Head of Fixed Income Product Management APAC/ EMEA recruitment

Reporting to the Director of Global Fixed Income the successful applicant will be responsible for;

Product Management/Support

Work closely with the Head of Fixed Income Product Management, Americas to define the global fixed income product offering

• Understand the competitive environment and primary competitors that Fixed Income faces across product sets

• Enhance the NTGI Fixed Income “brand” that answers questions like “Why Fixed Income”, “Why NTGI” and provides answers to client pain points such as “Low Rates”, “Volatility”, “Credit Risk Management”

• Identify opportunities to showcase Fixed Income capabilities internally via various channels.

Sales/Service Support  

A key component of this job is to manage the delivery of sales/service support. This will include:

• Provide front line for support in prospecting, sales, finals, and work with PM staff as needed to help them support existing client requests/due diligence demands.

• Develop and enhance service delivery, client reporting, custody capabilities and investment manufacturing

• Hold sales partners accountable for prospecting support and strength of opportunities.

• Determine when Portfolio Management or Investment Specialist support is appropriate for the opportunity

• Challenge sales teams about our product capabilities and where we fail to outperform competitors.

• Identify opportunities to train Sales staff to improve their ability to talk knowledgably about our product capabilities

Product Development Innovation

Working with the Head of Fixed Income EMEA you will take responsibility for:

• Fixed Income product development and innovation

• Strategic Product Development

• Product Pricing/ Profitability

Knowledge / Skills

• Experience of Investment Product Management, Sales, Client Servicing or Consulting required with an emphasis on the institutional market place.

• Fixed Income portfolio management experience desirable

• Working knowledge of cash, short duration and  index fixed income advantageous

• Undergraduate degree; MBA, CFA (or working toward CFA designation)

• Experience with portfolio analytics and investment performance measurement.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
