Head of Fund Accounting
My client is a leading European Private Equity and Venture Capital firm based in the City of London with close to €1billion AUM amongst a number of funds. The business is looking to recruit a Head of Fund Accounting on a contract basis covering maternity leave. The role is looking to pay up to £400pd and is a great opportunity for someone to come into a growing business during a lengthy contract.
The main responsibility of the role will be the management of the fund accounting team, responsible for the preparation of all fund financial statements under UKGAAP. The team consists of a mixture of part qualified and qualified accountants. All fund accounting is performed in house so the team look after all fund administration as well.
It is essential that anyone applying is a qualified accountant and has strong experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting. Candidates without Private Equity experience will not be considered. The role reports into the CFO and is of an urgent nature so please apply now quoting reference 155488.
