To strengthen our team Real Estate Portfolio Management, we are looking for the Head of Fund Operation based in Geneva.
In this position you will be responsible for :
Insuring compliance and legal obligations: tax substance check, accounting process, audit process of the structure
Tax : monitor the vehicles, organize substance check, lead regular discussion with tax advisors regarding legislation change, anticipate change and adapt, optimise implementation, validate tax / VAT expectation and follow up of compliance and filing
Corporate management : 6 vehicles ? 50 companies (to grow in the near future)
Recurrent matters :
- Make sure all necessary documentation is in place in place : Board meeting / Share holder resolution / Loan documentation / Shariah documentation ...
- Organise schedule and follow up of the audit process and approvals
Distributions : Plan / Organise / Document
Liquidity check
Payment process :
- Organise and maintain tracability of the payment process and of the cash movements
- Accountable for the quality and veracity of the various CF input based on actual payment process
- Ensure risk free payment process
Corporate services and cost :
- In charge of quoting and negotiating and retaining best quality Third party provider service (Accounting, domiciliation, legal and tax advisors, administrator...)
- Forecasts, implement and follow up on structure corporate budget 2 M CHF
- Proactivity in defining the best solution cost/vs benefit vs risk
Risk :
- SOX compliance
- Internal audits
Specific issue :
- Investors communication ? corporate reporting
- Monitoring of Jersey
- Share transfers if required by clients
- Participate to structure initial setup
- Organize cash calls - documentations
For this position, you will bring in:
- 8 to 10 years in similar experience, especially in fund management
- Strong organisational skills
- Being a leader and enjoy group work
- Versed in tax and other administrative issues
- Proficiency in English and French, other languages are an asset
