Head of Fund Operations – Alternative Funds
Our client is looking for a new Head of Fund Operations to lead and grow their Alternative Funds team.
Responsibilities include:
· Daily Operations management of fund accounting, transfer agency, financial and statutory reporting
· Management and development of the small fund operations team including recruitment of additional staff
· Client management: be the main contact; establish relationships; implement SLAs; work closely with business development in order to facilitate the growth of the business
· Oversight of NAV process
· Ensure delivery of reporting requirements
· Project manage the on-boarding of clients
· Launch new funds
· Build and develop procedures and processes
· Liaise with compliance colleagues relating to AML/KYC
Requirements:
· University business related Degree ideally in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
· Strong knowledge of various alternative investment funds (including Hedge funds, Private Equity and/or Real Estate funds)
· 10+ years of relevant experience
· Strong fund operations knowledge is essential – the department is small so requires a very hands-on approach
· Good knowledge of English and French is preferred
· Ideally you are an autonomous, multi-tasking, deliverable focused individual with experience of working in a small team and consequently perform tasks as part of the team
· Strong management experience both with clients and staff
