Head of FX recruitment

It has a high quality, internet based IT platform linking with the market so the main driver required is bringing in clients and enabling them to use the platform. The right candidate will be significantly incentivised and should be able to build a sales team over time and a client list of significant value. The business operates alongside a very successful fixed income trading business and an FSA regulated fund administrator.

1. Key Job Deliverables/Responsibilities:
    • Identify, create and pursue new business opportunities in the corporate foreign exchange  sector
    • Bring in new clients to the existing high quality platform
    • Once income-generating, build the business by recruiting a high quality sales team
    • Identify particular client types and sales strategies for those groups
    • Continue to nurture top clients to maintain business value

2. Job /Role Competencies:
    • Strong numeracy and communications skills to be able to present and negotiate with executive level positions within a prospective client company
    • Strong sales skills to persuade clients to join the platform
    • Competency to manage a sales team and the complete sales cycle process to ensure maximum productivity and completion of sales/pipeline reports and competitor information
    • Enthusiasm and motivation to build the business and create value

3. Previous Experience/Qualifications:
    • Experience in attracting new clients to a financial service
    • Direct foreign exchange experience useful but not essential
    • Proven track record in sales
    • Experience in building and managing a sales team
