Head of FX Sales
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Excellent knowledge of the Foreign Exchange market, macro economics and global cash flow are expected.
- Should have total understanding FX Forwards, NDF’s, Options and Money Markets instruments.
- Ability to understand hedging according to cash flow arising from various FX transactions.
- Expected to have direct contact with key decision makers within the regional (GCC) and international DFI’s.
- Highly professional with ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
- Knowledge and application of core banking procedures
- Responsible for monitoring all client limits/exposures
Ideally, the candidate should have the following background:
- 10 min years spent in a trading room environment
- Exposure to the GCC advantageous but G7 FX markets expected
- Some understanding of risk management systems processes and ability to work in a controlled risk environment on sophisticated systems
- At least 5 years with an international bank
- Base understanding of rates and derivatives
- Candidate should have top academic credentials with preference given for senior professional relationships
