Head of FX Technology recruitment
A rare opportunity has arisen in the Melbourne marketplace for an experienced technology professional to lead the FX area of this significant Investment Bank
You will have accountability for building new systems and further improvement to scalability of existing solutions to cope with a rapid expansion plan to what is an already successful business unit.
The successful applicant will directly manage 5 leads with a further 25 FX technology representatives of various description which have responsibility for both BAU and project work currently in motion or scheduled for the future. You will also be responsible for the building a road map/architectural framework to ensure that the area has structure.
You will be responsible for:
- Development of strong relationships with senior business unit representatives and other Technology heads to deliver projects.
- Recruitment and retention of key technology personnel
- Providing insights in to Architectural planning
- Managing IT change within the business unit
Key Skills Required:
- Proven experience with building Foreign Exchange platforms
- A high level of commercial acumen
- Able to manage financial budgets
- Experience with the operational management of mid-size teams
- An understanding project management methodology would be ideal
