My client is looking for a new head of compliance market abuse surveillance IT. The job holder will be either an IT programme manager or project manager and have experience implementing compliance and regulatory systems, more specifically Actimize. Knowledge of SharePoint is required as well as having an up to date knowledge of the compliance climate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the market abuse surveillance programme. The objective of this programme is to provide centralised management for all trade surveillance activities. The programme has a number of vendors associated with it, so vendor management experience is essential. You will need a track record of implementing vendor trade surveillance systems, such as Actimize, Redkit Wolter Kluer.
The client is looking for the job holder to come from an investment banking background and to have experience implementing a surveillance/compliance systems (such as Actimize) within a tier 1 investment bank. You will need to be able to effectively manage project managers, developers and testers across multiple locations, predominantly in the UK, Hong Kong, US, Paris and India.
The job holder will need to attend programme steering committees and to produce progress reports for stakeholders and senior management. This means that the role requires a strong confident communicator who has experience presenting reports to seniors stakeholders.
This role will require the successful candidate to hit the ground running as this project is already in progress. This means I am looking for someone who is doing a similar role to this, either currently or previously.
