Head of Global Compliance & Risk recruitment

1.Develop robust strategies to cope with a changing market environment allowing the business to make more informed decisions on the basis of sound evidence and analysis.

2.Ensure compliance and risk management at client, product, corporate and market level

3.Co-ordinate team members (including international members) with a strong requirement to be hands on

4.Responsible for the formulating and implementing of risk compliance strategy which is aligned to the various industry best;

a.to implement the compliance framework and group compliance directives within the group.This involves conducting legislative assessments; completing rolling-out new initiatives; devising compliance monitoring programs; setting standards by communicating standards for achieving Compliance with relevant regulations and other compliance principles;

b.required to consolidate the compliance reporting requirements for the group;

c.maintenance of compliance manual;

5.Required to ensure that there is adherence to all legislative, regulatory supervisory requirements by the group companies;

a.execution of compliance monitoring programmes;

b.required to analyse proposed new legislation, comment to the management, inform and comment;

c.to devise, implement and monitor processes and procedures to pro-actively ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory and supervisory requirements

6.Responsible for building a relevant infrastructure across businesses

a.ensure appropriate risk compliance identification, reporting and resolution of breaches and other legal, compliance regulatory issues;

b.drafting of policies and internal rules, implementation thereof and monitoring compliance therewith.

7.Responsible for building relationships with internal and external stakeholders / regulators;

a.maintaining effective relations with regulators

8.Required to advise management on all compliance and regulatory matters that affect business decisions;

a.creating/maintaining an effective compliance presence ensuring that any incidents of non-compliance can be identified effectively in a timely manner;

9.Required to assist in monitoring compliance, with applicable legislation internal requirements;

a.ensuring internal group policies are in place and adhered to

10. Required to review the work of the compliance officers and business risk officers and express an opinion on the effectiveness thereof.

a.manage and liaise with the compliance officers to ensure implementation and management of the compliance framework and specific business policy and process compliance;

b.interface between the operating groups in the business and ensure that all the structures are aligned
