A leading global banking group is searching for a new Head of Sanctions. The role offers a unique opportunity to oversee a mature but challenging sanctions programme across all business lines.
The role involves
Group wide leadership of the Sanctions risk management framework.
Identifying regulatory developments to ensure the sanctions policies and procedures are fit for purpose.
Developing the Group Sanctions Policy and related supporting standards.
Cultivating a culture of awareness around sanctions through the development of an effective learning programme.
Advising the respective business divisions and overseas territories on sanctions policy queries and escalations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sanctions, of 5 plus years and possess strong knowledge of sanctions regulation not only in the UK but elsewhere too.
The role is looking to pay up to £120,000 base with a sizeable cash package on top.
