Head of Group Treasury (Bahasa Malaysia Speaking)
This is a fast growing bank which continues to aggressively expand its presence in Asia, with a strong focus in corporate banking and retail banking.
You will lead the group wide treasury operation, to increase trading profits, lower funding costs and minimise balance sheet risk in the longer term. You will work on strategy and planning with regards to the business direction of the group, provide strategic advice to the management and keep and eye on the Asset and Liability Management (ALM) of the bank. You will ensure competitive funding of the bank and manage the bank’s treasury trading activities. You will keep abreast of the developments in treasury operations internationally and domestically, and to ensure compliance to the central bank’s policies and guidelines.
You will have at least 15 years’ experience in treasury operations at an established financial services institution. Strong understanding of treasury and foreign exchange (FX) operation, as well as risk management is mandatory in this case. Bahasa speaking and writing skills are required as candidate will be working closely with local authorities with official documents and language as Bahasa. On top of that, good understanding of group level strategy planning, together with strong analytical and relationship building skills are important.
