Head of Guideline Monitoring
A global brand in Asset Management required an experience Investment Compliance specialist to join their business as a Team manager for their Guideline Monitoring team, managing pre and post trade monitoring as well as rule coding using the Charles River system. This role manages a team of 5 Associates.
The role reports directly in to the Head of Investment Compliance, and will face off to the compliance advisory team, operations and the front office in managing any breaches or flags from the system. Charles River experience is preferred however not essential, suitable experience within the pre/post trade monitoring space is however essential. Candidates with other system experience such as Sentinel, ThinkFolio, MIG, Alladin or TRAC would be considered. Previous management experience again is not a pre-requisite however would be preferred.
Most important to my client are the soft skills that a candidate can utilise alongside their experience to encourage the development of this team that this manages. The culture of the business and the team is greatly protected and so a manager who is committed to developing a best in market function and committed to the training and development of the associates in this team is essential.
