Head of HR – Malaysia recruitment

This premier financial institution serves its global network of clients with sophisticated services and operates in a dynamic, entrepreneurial and culturally diverse environment.  It is recruiting a dynamic professional for the position of Head of HR – Malaysia. 

This is a highly critical hire in support of the company’s growing operations in Malaysia. As part of the senior management team and the key decision-maker for human capital, you will drive people agenda and contribute to the alignment of the business and employee objectives through utilizing appropriate HR interventions and change management tools. As a generalist and strategic business partner, this broad ranging role encompasses both strategic initiatives and daily HR operational matters. You will manage all aspects of HR functions covering policies, payroll, compensation, benefits and recruitment. You will challenge the status quo, reengineer processes, benchmark strategies and policies against best practices, and implement appropriate changes. As a seasoned HR practitioner, you are commercial in your approach and able to provide innovative HR solutions in addressing complex business and human capital challenges. 

Degree qualified, with significant years of HR experience gained in a major MNC or financial institution, including a proven track record in a leadership role, you are highly credible, a self-starter, highly-tenacious and proactive in driving results and organizational change. 

You will have the ability to function effectively in a globally matrix, high growth phase, culturally diverse and highly competitive environment. With strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
