Head of Human Resources Administration

I am currently recruiting for a Head of HR and Administration to join an international bank based in the city on a 12 month contract. Your main responsibilities will be owning all matters relating to HR within the bank, as well as overseeing the administration department including the facilities team.

As Head of HR, your responsibilities will include recruiting and maintaining the human resources in accordance with agreed plans, train, develop and lead resources to ensure that targets are met. Manage performance of staff and ensure appropriate training needs are identified. This will be a very generalist role.

You will also be required to supervise the work of the Admin Department, making appropriate decisions to ensure the department functions efficiently and effectively. You will oversee and monitor the facilities services ensuring outsourced suppliers are working efficiently and effectively.

1. Interpreting legislation and ensuring best practice in the Bank
2. Assisting line managers to understand and implement policies, procedures and legislative issues
3. Maintain staff handbook, create or update policies as necessary and implement HR policies/strategies
4. Managing all aspects of recruitment and selection process
5. HR documentation to include contracts of employment, offer letters, reference procedures
6. Manage employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, terminations
7. Implement learning and development process
8. Support induction and leaver process and full employee life cycle
9. Manage and review staff benefit and pension administration
10. Oversee and ensure accuracy of payroll

Previous experience working within an international bank is essential, along with managing Visa / Sponsorships.
