Head of Institutional Sales recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Service major Hong Kong institutional accounts and build and lead a team of equity sales people and traders
- Maintain client database and activity levels to track the success of business relationships and ensure efficient and proactive communication to client
- Very experienced in all relevant compliance matters including experience in dealing with SFC / HKMA on licensing, etc.
Key requirements:
- 10 + years broking and trading experience selling HK Equity products
- Have Responsible Officer license
- Ideally need to have worked within boutique but highly reputable international investment bank. Any experience in building platform from scratch will be highly desirable
- Have strong experience selling to HK Institutional clients and have a strong, built-up and transferable client base. Any connection to asset management firms, hedge funds, ultra-high-net-worth individuals and private banks is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to liaise with existing company clients whilst bringing in new accounts and developing the business
