Head of Insurance Management Consulting (Non-Life) recruitment
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The primary focus for this role is to establish the Insurance Management Consultancy Non-Life practice within Mainland China. Your Performance Objectives will include:
Clients:
- Actively seeks to develop new business opportunities within China.
- Seek opportunities to share knowledge/clients/resources to maximise business effectiveness within China and across Asia-Pacific.
- Ensure client satisfaction across China, bringing expertise and promoting teamwork to ensure client satisfaction and profitable business growth.
- Support other IMC projects within the Asia-Pacific region.
- Liaise with other members of the Asia Pacific and Global IMC team to ensure appropriate consistency of service lines and that advantage is taken of the global skills and resource base.
Excellence:
- Maintain and develop own industry knowledge.
- Lead the development and customisation of appropriate product and service offerings to the China Non-Life industry.
- Meet or exceed performance standards for financial reporting, revenue generation, financial management, client relationship management and work quality.
Financial
- Becomes a key member of team that identifies and wins IMC new projects
- Plays a key role in the delivery of all IMC non-life related work in China
People
- Facilitate the development of less experienced associates through coaching and mentoring
- Work collaboratively within the China APAC management team, contributing to its strategic development and demonstrating drive to achieve agreed objectives
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT:
- Fluency in Mandarin and English is a must,
- 12+ years experience of working within the insurance sector,
- Demonstrated hands-on operational experience within a Non-Life company including operations, underwriting and distribution,
- Exposure to a business consulting environment (either worked within a business consultancy or significant client side exposure to consulting teams),
- Regularly involved in new business development initiatives and knows what is important in winning new business in the B2B context,
- Has experience working within Greater China,
- Demonstrated ability to build strong client and associate working relationships,
- Self driven achiever demonstrating values of teamwork, collaboration, decisiveness, integrity in all that is done,
- Highly credible and experienced at discussing complex client issues and providing innovative potential solutions.
