Head of Internal Audit recruitment
Our Qatari government backed developer are looking to identify a Senior Manager; to establish and take ownership of an internal audit function, which can act independently of the existing financial control operation in an assurance and advisory capacity. The scope of this role and this new internal audit platform will be to control and assess the risk and exposures across the internal processes to ensure that all related activities are monitored and reported across all the business entities and functions.
This role will also heavily link to assisting the business management in evaluating revenues, reducing costs and enhancing operational efficiencies, whilst also providing consulting services to project partners, subsidiaries and joint ventures. This management role will take ownership of building an audit team, whereby all audit programs can be accomplished in line with the required and internationally governed guidelines, whilst also ensuring that all audit programs are comprehensive in their coverage and quality.
The client will look to recruit a professionally qualified accountant CA, CPA, CIMA or internal auditor (CIA), with up to 15 years’ general audit and industry practice background. Due to the visa regulations into Qatar, the client will be required to recruit a GCC National, Arab National or a western domiciled candidate.
