Head of Internal Audit recruitment
The Role:
Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for setting-up the Internal Audit department. You will manage and oversee the completion of all audit projects. You are responsible for developing risk based audit plans, staffing, executing field work, monitoring progress, reviewing draft audit reports, following up on management corrective action plans, providing supervision, coaching and training to audit staff as well as regular performance feedback.
The Candidate:
- Qualified CIA / CA / ACCA
- CISA certification would be an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of 12-15 years experience in:
- international auditing firms (big 4) auditing global financial investment institutions of which around 4 to 5 years experience in carrying out internal audits, or
- in the internal audit function of a global/international investment institution.
- At least 5 years experience in a senior leadership position in these organisations/institutions.
- Experience of establishing the internal audit function and capacity building.
