Our client is a top tier financial institution with a long history in Asia and an industry leading position in the region. Operating across a diverse range of markets and evolving operating models, the business is experiencing significant change and expansion, in turn focusing the need for enhanced internal communications initiatives.

Reporting to the director of Corporate Communications and managing a team, you will work closely with the most senior executives in the company, developing and executing internal communications strategies that are aligned with the company’s commercial and employee objectives. The communications programmes will enhance the company’s brand, connect employees to business goals and manage reputation to support key business developments. The Head of Internal Communications will have a remit which includes the effective delivery of information and corporate communications to staff at group level. The role is wide raging, encompassing the timely co-ordination of employee communication through a range of channels to ensure the ease of access, clarity and consistency.  A significant focus of this role will be to establish, maintain and continually improve a collaborative and effective corporate internal communications process, whilst having the opportunity to contribute across external communications and other marketing initiatives.

The successful incumbent will have a minimum of 8 to 10 years experience in communications with a preferred emphasis on internal communications. Previous experience working alongside senior executives including c-level management is a must, as well as a strong business acumen and impeccable written and oral English skills. This will ideally be supported by a proven track record of developing messaging across all media platforms for internal audiences.
