Head of Investment recruitment
This is a an excellent opportunity to join a well respected family business that has developed into a diversified conglomerate, that has interests in a wide variety of
commercial activities. The organisation is currently in a process of transformation to develop the organisation as an investment company.
As part of this transformation the role of Head of Investment has been developed to provide leadership and Direction on the group on its investment activities. One of the key elements of this transformation process is to review potential IPO opportunities and/or strategic partnership across the region; other key duties include -
- Managing a highly diversified investment portfolio that is valued at over $1Billion
- Provide leadership to a team that will include portfolio managers responsible for investing in equities, fixed income securities and alternative investments.
- Developing and implementing the Investment policy
To succeed in this role you will need a strong educational foundation combined with extensive portfolio management experience (15+ years); ideally from a high profile/ diversified asset management company either in the region or from Europe/ UK / US. Previous experience in working with a family group would be preffered, as would some experience of working in the MENA region. CFA qualification is essential.
