Head of Investment Strategy
Superannuation and Investments (SI) is one of the Lines of Business within CommInsure. The CommInsure Investments business unit is accountable for the end to end management of the CommInsure investment portfolio (circa $14b). The team seeks to ensure that risk and investment return outcomes meet the objectives of our customers and shareholders.
The Opportunity
As the Head of Investment Strategy you will be responsible leading a team of skilled investment and analytical professionals, in driving the development and implementation of investment strategies to deliver superior investment performance. This includes the development of strategic asset allocations, dynamic asset allocation tilts, asset class strategies, portfolio design and construction (including manager research), the maintenance of Investment frameworks and the monitoring and reporting of portfolio performance.
You will have
- A working knowledge of the products, capital and investment dynamics of a multi-line insurance business.
- Extensive experience in Board level reporting, including drafting and presenting Board papers.
- Tertiary qualifications in finance related and/or analytical discipline.
- 10+ years' Investment Strategy experience, preferably with a focus on Liability Driven investment, gained at an Insurance Company, asset consultant, fund manager, superannuation fund or other institutional investor.
