Head of Investor Relations – plc recruitment
Our client is a market leading Irish plc with a significant presence in the international market. Seeking to hire a Head of Investor Relations, this position plays a pivotal role in acting as the main contact for a variety of commercial queries encompassing financial results, strategic plans and interaction with bondholders. This is a permanent opportunity that will suit a commercial professional eager to accelerate their career in an international trajectory. You will need to demonstrate strong gravitas, excellent communication skills and strong understanding of capital markets or Public Relations in this arena. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will regularly engage with the Board of Directors of the Group so this position will afford the successful candidate with excellent exposure in a highly reputable, well known plc.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain and build strong relationships with existing analysts, investment banks, equity research analysts etc
- Preparation and completion of communication material for circulation to bondholders including key financial information
- Respond to all investor related queries in a prompt manner and build strong working relationships with legal team and financial advisors to ensure that all investor related queries are dealt with in the transparent manner
- Gain thorough understanding of the market in which our client operates in order to keep abreast of all relevant industry trends including competitor analysis and provide the Finance Director with key information in a timely manner
- Produce presentations on a continuous basis with regards investor roadshows, investor conferences and participate in such events
Key requirements:
- Excellent academic track record, in a Business or Finance related field
- Strong commercial experience gained in Banking or Industry but with good understanding of capital markets and an ability to interpret financial statements
- Excellent communication and presentation ability
- Strong analytical ability and strong organizational skills
- Willingness to relocate overseas – this position is based internationally
