Education

Degree in Management or Finance or Economics, MBA, CFA

Experience: 12 years in the financial industry, of which 5+ years in a Financial and/or Economic Analyst role and 3+ years in the banking industry

Technical Skills

• Financial markets / Stock exchanges

• Financial analysis / Economic research

• Corporate Governance

• Financial communication (Arabic/Speech writing)

• Interaction with stock exchange shareholders, regulators, analysts, and investors

• Arabic, English a must

Key Accountabilities

Coordinate the preparation and disclosure of quarterly end-of-year financial statements (audit, Board meeting, disclosure to the stock exchange, analysts’ meeting, publication in the press, disclosure …) in Arabic and English

Determine the financial communication strategy and develop investor presentations, analyst guides, annual reports, Analysts FAQ, press and earnings releases, speeches, and website content

Ensure compliance with Qatar Exchange QFMA rules and regulations and provide Investor Relations advice on insider trading, acquisitions, share repurchase, etc.

Liaise with analysts, regulators, and investors; prepare and participate in road-shows and investor forums; and conduct meetings with institutional and retail shareholders to develop long-term relationships

Answer retail and institutional shareholders’ queries / education (mainly Arabic)

Monitor peer competitors and insider traders ; analyze share price movements and volumes ; produce periodic ownership and buy / sell analysis ; monitor shareholder base ; and analyze market liquidity

Implement and contribute to strategic initiatives at the Bank’s level (capital decrease / increase, strategic partnerships, capping of capital, post-listing phase …)

Plan and organize ordinary and extraordinary general assemblies, including setting internal committees, distributing roles, regulatory disclosures, press releases, Articles of Association, securing quorum, preparing Board Report …
