My client is a Global Private Bank based in Miami and is now looking for a senior candidate with at least 10 years experience in Private banking - Wealth management to head the LATAM team.
My client is well known in the LATAM market and easily marketable to current and prospective clients in the region. In this role you would be responsible for managing individuals within the LATAM team whilst also contributing to the sales target therefore if the candidate has existing relationships this will be an advantage. Experience with HNW - UHNW clients from the LATAM market and the ability to have a strategic mindset to drive a team to succeed in Latin America is mandatory. They have the ability to be very focused in the market and have an excellent bonus structure that enables the candidate to be rewarded generously for the clients they can bring into the bank on top off a base salary. For the management side the compensation will be competitive and reward the level of experience and responsibility of the role.
The position is based in Miami therefore previous experience working in the region will be an advantage. Miami has a reputation as the hub for Latin America and the best place to represent LATAM clients from an offshore location. This reputation is constantly growing and is the reason for my client becoming aggressively active in the market and looking for senior profiles to help capitalize on this growth. This is an exciting challenge and requires commitment for at least 5 years. My client is also open to a team move.
Suitable candidates for this position should demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
• Previous experience of managing relationships within the LATAM region
• Have a demonstrable background in covering LATAM
• A demonstrable track record in client acquisition
• A strong knowledge of managing teams
