Head of Legal and Compliance – Hong Kong – Global Hedge Fund recruitment
We seek an experienced lawyer to join our Hong Kong office in order to implement our company's legal strategy within Asia, and to safeguard the rights of the company in Asia within the constraints of national and international law and practice. The successful individual will lead the company’s HK legal team, and report directly into the COO.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage all relationships with HK regulatory authorities
-Work with all external third parties and ensure legal agreements are in place.
-Help prepare the company for expansion, specifically the development of our business within Asia.
-Assist the company's UK legal and compliance teams when required.
The ideal candidate must hold the appropriate licences to practice law within Hong Kong, have relevant asset management experience as well as contemporary financial regulatory awareness.
The role requires an individual who is a confident and articulate presenter and is fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English.
