Head of Liquidity Risk and ALM recruitment
The successful candidate will be an established Liquidity Risk and ALM manager with direct experience of steering or contributing to a national/ regional ALCO as well as delivering on associated regulatory tasks.
You will be capable of measuring, limiting and monitoring market, liquidity and trading risk exposures across all three relevant markets.
Responsibilities will include :
- Leading the liquidity risk monitoring function across the three distinct territories
- Produce approval of liquidity limits, excesses and costs within your delegated authorities
- Engage with this business in pursuit of balanced risk/ return positions via discussions on market, liquidity and applicable trading limits
- Provide analysis of risk exposures, market commentaries and variances to Regional and Group Market Risk as and when required
- Engage with the country ALCO and Risk Committee in the pursuit of sustainable and profitable balance sheet growth
- Ensure there are appropriate and documented internal controls and procedures in place – monitoring regularly to incorporate regulatory and policy change
- Maintain appropriate relationships with ratings agencies
- Prepare country level capital calculations
- Take ownership of onshore portfolios and relevant offshore rates
- Maintain a framework of procedures for monitoring, management and reporting of operational risk in you area of responsibility
Skills required :
- Strong liquidity risk management and ALM experience from a progressive global/ regional banking group is essential
- Professional qualification in risk management, finance or accounting is preferred
- Strong balance sheet management knowledge
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, within Singapore and on a wider global basis
