Our client, a leading bank, seeks a senior change and transformation specialist with extensive programme management experience for the position of Head of Major Change and Transformation Risk.
This is a high-profile role charged with providing a holistic and independent view on the risk effectiveness across the Group’s business units and strategic initiatives. You will need strong analytical skills and technical expertise, combined with the gravitas and leadership qualities necessary to drive the change and transformation risk agenda, delivering independent reviews, establishing key threats and ensuring effective controls are in place.
The Head of Major Change and Transformation Risk will contribute to and influence the overall business strategy and objectives, educating the leadership teams and facilitating the identification and proactive management of regulatory and governance responsibilities.
Demonstrating the ability to engage, support and challenge at Director level, you will build strong working relationships within a heavily matrixed environment, providing thought leadership and fostering a risk aware culture.
First class communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills are required together with personal integrity and an ability to drive leadership at all levels, enabling collaborative teamwork, managing conflicting priorities, identifying innovative solutions and delivering quality outcomes.
The role reports to the Director of Major Change and Transformation Risk and can be based at various locations throughout the UK including London, Edinburgh, South-West and Northern England.
