Head of Management Accounts
My client, a large organisation based in Edinburgh City Centre, is looking to recruit for an Interim Head Management Accounts for their busy office for approximately 9 months.
Due to the organisation embarking on a transformation project this role will provide temporary support to ensure that the current management accounting function continues in an effective and efficient manner. This will include ensuring provision of meaningful, timely, accurate and relevant monthly management information to support decision-making, review and control of the overall budget position on an on-going basis and providing appropriate and effective challenge of forecast submissions including variance analysis.
The successful candidate will have a CCAB accountancy qualification as well as extensive staff management experience with an in depth knowledge of financial accounting procedures, strong analytical and communication skills. Strong system skills and the ability to negotiate, influence and advise are also desirable.
Easily accessible by public transport and close to local amenities this role is for an initial 9-month period however, there is the possibility of an extension for the right candidate.
