A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused senior finance professional to join one of the major success stories in the north-west. The primary focus of the role is to bring a strong vision of how MI can deliver real value and drive informed business decisions across a growing and ever changing organisation. You will be tasked with working closely with senior managers and the board to share this vision and bring ideas to improve strategy, performance and ultimately the bottom line. Key duties include lead and developing a high performing MI team, producing high quality and insightful management information at all times, advise on bids and tenders and continually challenge the ways that things are done. You will work with non-finance managers to improve reporting and identify where operational efficiencies need to be made, create efficiencies to speed up and improve MI accuracy and work with the finance and IT teams to identify opportunities to make system improvements. The successful candidate must be dedicated, possess excellent communication and presentation skills, have experience of shaping IT systems to produce accurate MI and be results focused. You will have strong leadership and team management skills, possess strong innovation and change management skills and be highly credible and professional.
