About our Client
Our client is an International Bank with a very strong network and presence in the Asia Pacific region. As they grow their business and develop their footprint in China, they are keen to strengthen their teams and are hence looking to upskill this particular function within their Shanghai operations.
Job Description
First of all, this role is a management role where you will manage a team of professionals consisting of business performance analysts and data management experts. You will be responsible for training, guiding and developing their careers and performances. You will be supporting your business stakeholders and partner with them in leveraging strong internal resources to create close to perfect deliverables and a specialized function. This person will also be responsible for the validity and quality of information used within the bank and you will support the analysis framework of the organization and ensure company policies, processes and guidelines are successfully implemented in China. Finally, you will be provide critical input to drive better management outcome as to further maximize profit and business growth.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal person for this senior role is someone who has hands on experience in managing a team of at least 10 professionals. You will have relevant project management skills and strong and transparent communication skills. Good knowledge of banking products, services, systems is key and ideally you have worked in organizations with an emphasis on performance management and data management. From a personality point of view, you are a team player, pro-active and willing to be part of an active and fast moving environment.
