Head of Management Reporting & Analysis recruitment
Responsibilities:
Drive commercial focus
• Set the framework for planning, reporting and business performance management with a view to maximising margins, minimising costs and optimising the use of capital
• Lead the thinking on Group-wide decision support issues, eg allocation of capital, cost management and strategic projects
Provide fast, commercially insightful information in a controlled environment
• Ensure that the Group’s annual planning process is run effectively, with a commercial outlook which produces output which can be clearly understood and challenged by the CEO, CFO and COO
• Improve, streamline and automate the Group’s reporting processes and enhance the management information produced to give management visibility of what is driving business results
Build people capabilities
• Build a strong Planning and Reporting team staffed with high potential employees
• Motivate and inspire members of the team to succeed by providing them with leadership and direction
• Build strong relationships with the Divisional Finance teams
Act as member of the Finance management team
• Be an active member of the Business Finance management team, supporting the Group Finance Director to lead the global team and to deliver the Finance agenda
Candidate Requirements:
• Qualified accountant with c10-15 years post qualification experience
• High preference for Big 4 training
• Will have led Finance teams and held a number of broad Finance roles Experienced in group planning and performance management
• Experience in the commodities sector and commercial financial experience are all an advantage
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; highly commercial; strong financial planning, reporting and management skills Understanding of market risk is an advantage
