Our Client is an established and growing IT service provider that brings comprehensive IT services and solutions to many markets. With their exciting portfolio of technology services and solutions, our client is well positioned to meet the needs of today’s demanding company. They now have an immediate opening for a Head of Marketing to be based in Central London.
As Head of Marketing, reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall marketing strategy for our client and have full responsibility for the performance and management of the marketing function and budget. You principal responsibility will be for ensuring their value proposition is presented in a positive and consistent manner to new and existing customers, suppliers, partners and internal audiences alike. Short and medium term objectives for this position include running a programme of customer and partner events, developing and managing an online, communications and social media strategy, managing the presence at industry wide events and expos and ensuring our clients’ key achievements are recognised at industry awards. You will also manage a marketing intelligence and CRM system, identify and develop customer and partner case studies, develop a public relations strategy and lead the managing and mentoring of marketing team members and marketing partner relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4 years in a similar position in a B2B technology services environment. You will be an accomplished and ambitious marketing professional, you will have a broad career track record and be able to demonstrate success throughout your career. You will be ambitious with exceptional organisational skills, have attention to detail and a passion for innovation. You will possess first rate people management skills and a natural ability to command respect, you will be self-motivated, able to work on own initiative and have an in depth knowledge of the technology industry. Experience of working with large vendor partners such as Microsoft and Cisco would be advantageous.
The successful candidate can expect a basic salary of 70k with additional and generous benefits.
