Head of Marketing and Communications – Arabia recruitment
We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Marketing and Communications professional to lead the function within the Arabia region (Gulf Countries and Lebanon) to support the strategic business agenda with:
a) the development of a proactive external communication strategy,
b) effective management and production of quality marketing collateral in line with brand guidelines
c) the development of an internal communication agenda
Reporting to the Regional Head of Marketing and Communications, the position will be based in Dubai.
Specific responsibilities will include:
* Effectively managing brand communications strategies to further the company's business goals and build brand reputation;
* Developing written materials for use in multiple communications channels including marketing materials, press releases, internal executive communications, Intranet and web, internal magazines and brochure copy;
* Building relationships with key consumer, business, and financial stakeholders in traditional and new media;
* Identifying external media relations opportunities for story placement in print, blog space and online publications;
* Executing an integrated Corporate Social Responsibility program that returns positive endorsement of the Chartis brand;
* Supporting the execution and ongoing development for a direct-to-customer digital marketing program;
* Working with Chartis executive speakers to deliver media interviews and external speaking opportunities which position Chartis as an insurance industry thought leader; and
* Supporting company hosted events, roadshows and conferences for agents, brokers and customers.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess a tertiary qualification in Marketing and/or Communications and a minimum of 6 years experience in a Corporate Communications or Marketing Communications role. Insurance or financial services experience is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communicaton skills, including the ability to produce content with flair and creativity, will be essential for success.
A broad knowledge of current communications platforms, including social media, the ability to seek out opportunities to promote the brand and effective influencing skills will be required of the successful candidate.
