Head of Marketing, Asia recruitment

Summary:

To cope with the expansion plan in Asia, a leading financial institution is seeking for a high calibre marketing and communications professional to head up the Asia marketing team.

Responsibilities:

This is a newly created role and you will be building a new regional marketing capability for the Bank in Asia. Reporting to the COO and building and overseeing a small team in HK as well as in Asia. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing and corporate affairs plans for the region as well as covering both retail banking and institutional banking sectors. These marketing activities including but not limited to branding, advertising, product campaigns, sponsorships event marketing, client engagement programs as well as internal and external communications, including media and public relations.  

Requirements:

An ideal candidate should be a degree holder in Journalism, Communications or related disciplines, possibly with a post-graduate Marketing qualification or MBA. You have about 15 years’ experience in a senior regional marketing and communications role within banking and financial institutions. You are driven and committed, with strong team development and leadership skills. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and able to work within a matrix environment. Excellent English is a must and Chinese is highly preferred.
