Head of Marketing Execution, Singapore recruitment
The Marketing function for the Investment Bank comprises of Global and Regional Marketing Strategists dedicated to individual business areas within the Investment Bank (IBD, FICC and EQ) and a shared Marketing Execution team that supports all business areas.
The Head of Marketing Execution role is responsible for the execution of all marketing requirements for the Investment Bank in Singapore and across South East Asia; the individual will manage a dedicated team of Marketing Execution specialists based in Singapore. The individual will work closely with the Regional Strategists for IBD, FICC and EQ to provide best in class Marketing Execution services for the investment bank. The individual will also lead and manage the local Corporate Roadshow requirements for the Investment Bank in Singapore.
Projects will take place and be executed across South East Asia. The individual will be required to travel to these locations for key programs onsite.
Reporting line is directly into the Regional Head of Marketing, APAC.
Our ideal candidate will have the following requisites:
- Investment Banking experience an advantage
- A broad marketing execution background
- Excellent interpersonal and team management skills, strong leadership skills
- Good judgment and decision making
- Flexible and adaptable in approach
- Collaborative and a team player; within the team and across internal functions
- Commercially strong in the area of budget management
- Able to put in place processes and operational procedures for the execution function
- Comfortable communicating and presenting to senior management
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload and allocate work to maximize efficiencies
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Detail orientated
- Able to manage operational and reputational risk relating to all marketing activities

- Collaborate closely with the Regional strategists in meeting the strategic marketing needs of our business. Maintain a strategic, creative and collaborative partnership with the Regional Strategists and that you are adding value to their core goals to support the business. Meet regularly to understand the pulse of the business and the pipeline of activities
- Keep aware of activities across the Investment Bank and to make recommendations to regional strategists on where there are opportunities to share initiatives and to facilitate sharing of best practice across the Investment Bank
- Ensure the team are maintaining a standard of excellence with regard to vendor negotiation and innovative ideas for cost reductions. Set forward a high standard for obtaining the lowest price possible without compromising on the quality
- Maintain a knowledge bank of our competitors programs in South East Asia and personally keep abreast as to the changing landscape, participate in competitor networking groups
- For client marketing of conferences and events, assist the regional strategists and internal hosts to ensure that conferences and events are being marketed in a timely manner to gain momentum and be ahead of the competition
- With regard to Return on Investment (ROI) for marketing spend; provide conference statistics to the regional strategists and business management for analysis
- Keep abreast of trends for both conferences and events; work closely with the global product heads for Conferences and Events to leverage global ideas and initiatives in this area
