With extensive marketing experience including managing a large team you will have great man management skills and expertise at a strategic level. You are likely to come from an FMCG, retail, consumer goods or automotive background and be looking for a senior position with much variety and scope. This role will work at a global level.
As Head of Marketing you will develop, implement and evaluate the marketing strategy for the retail and trade portfolio of products to achieve the commercial objectives incorporating new product development, channel and customer optimisation, advertising and promotion, brand positioning, PR and events. Leading a large team you will identify line extension opportunities, manage a variety of research projects and control the marketing budget whilst effectively managing external PR and marketing agencies.
