The company:

A prestigious international finance organisation, they are leaders in the Forex market place and pioneers in the online trading business. With impressive expansion plans, they are set to be the dominant player in this arena on the global stage.

The role:

We’re looking for a dynamic, driven, entrepreneurial and innovative marketing communications professional to manage and lead global marketing operations for this growing organisation. With a strong digital focus and based in Switzerland, the position offers an invaluable opportunity to take strategic ownership of all marketing, advertising and promotional activities.

The role involves the direct day-to-day management of marketing staff. Supported by a PR Manager and a strong team, the successful candidate will forge relationships with key stakeholders including external advertising agencies and media organisations.

International travel is expected but will not be excessive.

Experience Required:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing a dynamic and growth-focused marketing department within the Forex and/or international banking world, with in-depth knowledge and experience of the industry. An interest in Swiss banking is a bonus but the candidate must have:

• Successful and proven track record in leading a successful international marketing function

• Proven collaborative skills with both internal stakeholders and external partners

• Track record in recruiting and managing high performing individuals

• Budget setting, forecasting and PL management

• Team creation and expansion experience

• Contributing to business direction and strategy at a senior level

• Excellent financial and reporting skills

• Effective management of marketing costs

• Strong communication skills – ability to negotiate with suppliers, and maintain professional internal and external relationships.

• Proactively able to establish and maintain effective working team relationships within own team and with all other departments;

• Strong leadership and consensus building skills;

• Extensive experience of developing, maintaining and delivering on marketing strategies to meet company objectives;

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have entrepreneurial tendencies and the desire to be a part of a rapidly growing, corporately supported operation.

In addition you must be:

• Ambitious, energetic marketer who can establish a strong team culture

• A University degree in Marketing or a diploma deemed equivalent,

• Unafraid of getting their hands dirty but also able to take a global strategic view, with the ability to flit between granular detail and long-term vision

• Excellent communicator who can manage brands and business expectations

• Able to recruit and retain a strong team

• A natural motivator

• Self starter, who can drive and execute projects, foster innovation, focus on delivery, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.

• The presence, ability and skills to quickly establish him or herself as the authority on marketing, data and audience related projects

• Thrives in a challenging, fast paced and high pressure environment

• Comfortable with accountability at a senior level

• Deeply entrepreneurial backed with proven experience as a practical deliverer
