Head of Markets Trade Surveillance, Global Investment Bank
My client is a global investment bank with an increasing geographical footprint in the Asia Pacific. As a result of growth as well as regulatory requirement, they are seeking to hire a Regional Head of Markets Trade Surveillance to join the regional compliance team.
Reporting to the regional head of Compliance, you will be responsible for all surveillance matters pertaining to the capital markets business.
You will be responsible for building and managing the regional compliance surveillance function and provide leadership and day to day management of the regional team. Working with regional and global counterparts, you will ensure that the global surveillance strategy is properly implemented and relevant to the region. Your team will also be responsible for developing, monitoring and disseminating effective metrics for the surveillance function
Degree qualified, you should have at least 7 -10 years of relevant compliance surveillance experience in the capital markets space (across asset classes) and have managed a regional team in Asia Pacific. You should be familiar with regional regulatory issues as well as be comfortable dealing with regulators in the region.
