About the Job
Our client is a reputable and rapidly expanding solicitor firm in Manchester city centre and are now seeking a Head of Management Information. Your main focus will be to have a strong vision on how MI can deliver real value and drive informed business decisions across the business and their Clients. Collaborate closely with Client Partners and Clients to share this vision and bring to life in terms of enhanced performance. Also you must be able to lead and develop a high performing MI team who are pro-active and deliver accurate, timely and insightful MI, together with expert advice to the Clients and Client Partners. Lead reporting projects to advance the level of management information and lead technical expertise to accelerate and improve reporting efficiency. A full job spec is available. The successful candidate will be a qualified CCAB/CIMA/ACCA/ACA who has great communication, presentation and influencing skills and has the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with all levels across the business. Willing and able to work to strict deadlines and under pressure, particularly at certain times of the year. Experience of working in the Insurance sector would be advantageous to the role. Strong leadership and team management skills are essential. Management style must be one that delivers high performance, with experience in team development and coaching. Sound commercial awareness and the ability to provide 'value add' insight to Partners and Clients. Strong innovation and change management skills. Experience of shaping IT systems to produce enhanced MI and analysis to drive improved business performance. Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills and a good understanding of how to extract and analyse MI from core business systems.
