Head of MI Strategy recruitment
Key deliverables will include:
- Developing data definitions and ensuring consistent use of information across the business. This will require considerable interaction with the business (at multiple levels up to Exco level) to establish the core metrics to measure business performance.
- Partnering with Group Finance, Central MI, and Product Finance to execute on the strategy
- Determining what parts of the MI strategy can be off-shored leading to reduced cost and increased process efficiencies.
A key part of the role is managing the development of an MI reporting system. The role will require considerable interaction with the Group Finance Systems teams as the key project lead and will require the following:
- Leading through the requirements, development and deployment of a MI System.
- Engagement with other key functions such as IT, OPS, Finance
- Engagement with key business teams to determine and develop the core requirements
- Engagement with stakeholders and the mobilisation of core governance to support the project delivery
This role is critical to deliver on its aims for standardised, consistent and robust metrics to run and manage the business.
Experience Required
- Qualified Accountant strongly preferred, other exceptional candidates may be considered
- Background in banking, or broader financial services, is essential
- Experience in conducting Business / Systems Analysis and design efforts
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in requirements gathering and analysis techniques
