HEAD OF MIDDLE OFFICE, TREASURY recruitment

Job Description :

• Define and oversee the Middle Office function in supporting of the Treasury and Global Markets business.

• Review the existing policies and operations procedures and take initiatives to build the infrastructure and internal controls to ensure compliance with the requirements of HKMA and the Bank’s internal guidelines.

• Responsible for the operational risk management in Treasury/Global Markets

• Participate in the new business projects, such as driving new product deployment.

• Responsible for Profit and Loss Position Reconciliation of Treasury/Global Markets business.

• Responsible for Trade Control, such as the daily trade verification process between the Front Office Systems and Operations Systems.

• Responsible for static data maintenance of the front office and operations systems.

• Lead the Treasury/Global Markets projects with impact on Middle Office.

• Provide regional support to overseas branch/office related to Treasury/Global Markets Middle Office Support Function.

Job Requirement :-

• Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines

• Minimum 12 years’ experience in Treasury and Global Markets Operations /Middle Office.   

• In-depth knowledge on treasury and global markets products, such as  Derivatives, FX/MM, Capital Markets and Securities.

• Good understanding of Middle Office, Operational Risk, Front Office and Settlement functions.

• Familiar with HKMA guidelines and relevant regulatory

• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
