Head of MIS recruitment
Our client is a leading Australian Bank who are looking to increase their presence in the area substantially over the next few years. They are currently looking for an Analytical MIS Head to join their regional management accounting team and support the front office growth and reaise the profile of the team. This is a strong role offering the chance to join a bank at an exciting stage of it's development and see it grow in the area form its inception. The work/life balance is also superb.
On a day to day basis, primarily, you will be managing the MIS suite, improving processes, offering guidance to your team, developing high quality analysis and stakeholder engagement, overseeing monthly reports, performing variance analysis, supporting the business intelligence tool implementation and the budgeting and planning process. There will also be a proportion of financial reporting and some IFRS and GAAP reporting - ideally you will have experience of this but it is not a necessity as the real value add of this role is the analytics and MIS.
Essential Criteria:
- Strong MIS and analytical backgrond
- Very strong stakeholder skills
- Good academics, finance quals preferred
- Management ability (team of 2-4)
- Good systems ability and proficiency with IT. Able to offer systems based solution, reccomend improvements and add value in this are in general. (Access, PROMIS, SQL all highly desirable)
