Head of Model Validation – Risk recruitment

Responsibilities:

• Lead the model validation team and formulate model validation policies and procedures

• Perform data collection and data analysis for validation of credit risk models to facilitate IRB Approach implementation

• Conduct independent model validation and draft periodical model validation report

• Independently assess and monitor performance of risk parameters in credit risk model

• Help model developer to fine-tune developed model based on results for model validation

• Involve in communication with external auditors or internal auditors and regulatory authority

• To comply with the local legislation, various regulatory bodies and regulations or codes; monitor and identify the potential risk of the bank's policies, relevant risk management policies and procedures; timely report to senior management.

Requirements:

• Degree or above with major in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Quantitative, Numerical Science, or related discipline

• At least 6-10 years Banking experience in Credit Risk Management

• Experience in IRB project and risk model development or model validation is an added bonus

• Good understanding of the regulatory requirements

• Proficient in credit risk data analysis / reporting using statistical or database packages such as SAS, Access or Excel

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese
