Key Responsibilities
- Team management (80+ people)
- Operating Model and resourcing
- Architecture and Standards
- Model Development, Delivery and Support
- Budget: Up to £10m core with between £20m - £30m change portfolio
This role will not necessarily go to an Actuarial Modeller.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required
- Operated at senior level in organisations and actively involved in the management of major change programmes.
- Experience of working within and defining innovative target operational and sourcing model
- Day to day management of a third party sourcing arrangement to deliver maximum benefit to the organisation
- Proven experience of leading and successfully delivering developments within a structured project framework.
- Extensive experience of internal customer service delivery and SLA management, including identifying and understanding customer needs, team behaviours, satisfaction measurement, stakeholder management.
- Highly developed written verbal communication skills and strong influencing skills.
- Strong awareness of financial reporting practices and experience of working within a regulated environment.
- A well developed management capability including extensive experience of managing teams of highly capable staff - providing stretch and development as well as effective performance management
- Capable of ensuring there is adequate Actuarial Technical support to the team.
- Actuarial qualifications would be an advantage.
