Due to the unexpectedly late posting of this position, the commencement date for the role in 2012 is negotiable.
The Head of Music is responsible to the Principal for all aspects of Music education
at Wilderness School including the Music Curriculum, Co-curricular program, the
Instrumental Music program and the Music calendar incorporating all concertsand tours.
This is a leadership position commencing in 2012 and will offer the person appointed the opportunity to lead a group of committed and experienced teachers, including a large number of specialist instrumental staff.
The successful applicant must:
- have an outstanding record as an educator
- be an excellent role model as a musician
- have proven administrative ability and leadership skills
- demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
