Department overview
The ISAP-ITS department is in charge of:
• All IT Production activities for Asia, directly for Singapore and indirectly for other sites by managing local IT staff
• Paris level 12 IT production activities, that's to say 90% of the worldwide production activities for CA-CIB:
- Systems (Windows, UNIX, Linux), Storage and Databases (Oracle, SQL-Server,
Sybase) administration
- User Access Infrastructure (Citrix, VDI, etc) administration
- Network, security, messaging systems and Unified Communication systems
administration
- Applications (Capital Market apps, Structured Finance apps, etc) and production tools (Control-M, MQSeries, CFT, Sharepoint, etc ) administration
- User Account Management (apps rights management)
• L0 activities which involve direct relationships with end users and L3 activities (architecture, design, project management, governance, etc.) are managed by Paris teams.
• The staff (contractors) is provided by a single external provider
Position overview
The Head of Operations of Network Security is responsible for managing the team in Singapore. He/She will report hierarchically to the Asia Head of Infrastructure. His/her main missions consist of:
• Heading the operations of Network Security (LAN, MAN, WAN, Network Services, FW, VPN, loadbalancers, etc). The initial technical scope covers HO (Paris) infrastructure, managed remotely. This center of service will be extended to handle remotely operations of other geographical areas.
• Managing on a day to day basis the activity (incident management, request management, etc) and insuring that different technical towers are providing the right quality of service.
• Suggesting process enhancement to increase the efficiency of the team
• Managing financials (invoices, budget, forecast, etc)
• Monitoring process execution and identifying malfunction
• Ensuring coaching and development of partner resources to meet objectives
Responsibilities overview
He/She is responsible for:
- Ensuring that the IT Production activities regarding his/her perimeter are rightly performed by the team, complying with norms, standards, processes and procedures defined
- On a day-to-day basis, ensuring that the planned KPI’s of efficiency and performance are met (incident management, request management, etc.)
- Managing his/her budget (once a year) and forecasts (monthly)
- Controlling the quality of service delivered from the contractors
- Monitoring the good execution of the contract with the provider
- Implementing continuous improvement (organization, processes, quality of service, etc)
- Reporting to internal clients (HO in the first batch) the level of quality of service
Requirements
• Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in managing an IT production team and specialized on operations
• Must be able to work on Paris shift hours
• Customer service oriented, able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and troubleshooting skills
• In-depth knowledge of Network (LAN, MAN, WAN, network services, etc)
• In-depth knowledge of Security (Firewall, IPS, Proxy, Loadbalancer, VPN, etc)
• Able to work autonomously
• Able to work in a multicultural environment
• Experienced in financial sector would be appreciated
• French speaking capacity is an advantage
